Badflower - Ghost

Image
Badflower - Ghost “Suicide doesn’t end the chances of life getting worse. It eliminates the possibility of it ever getting better.” - Unknown I discovered Badflower in February of 2017 when they opened up for Red Sun Rising and Pop Evil here in Minnesota. Their performance was outstanding. The energy, the vibe, the actual music they played live, all of it was overwhelming and it was only the opening act! These guys have put together a really outstanding band. Each song of theirs puts me in a mood and I'm lost within the lyrics and the melody. This new song, 'Ghost' is a shining example of how amazing they are. The message behind it is a great social message about suicide in our society. I think it's safe to say we all know of somebody whose fallen victim to suicide. Either personally or through our entertainment industry. From Kurt Cobain to Chester Bennington, to even Anthony Bourdain. In this tragic video we are reminded of the problem us humans ...

Papa Roach- Who Do You Trust? Renegade New Music!

Image
Papa Roach - Who Do You Trust? / Renegade On October 4th, 2018, Nu-Metal band,  Papa Roach  released a new music video for their song, "Who Do You Trust" and a day later released another song, ' Renegade ' . As someone who got their start in the rock and metal genre, I am absolutely excited for these two new songs. Papa Roach's early albums like 'Infest', 'Lovehatetragedy' and 'Getting Away With Murder' will always hold a special place in my start. 'Who Do You Trust' is my favorite of the two and absolutely kicks ass but 'Renegade' is still an amazing tune and any long term 'Roach' fan is surely to be not disappointed.

Devour The Day - Faithless Review

Image
Devour The Day - Faithless It's time for Devour the Day to release some new music. This new song, Faithless. In my music opinion, is far better than the previously released, The Censor  (which is saying a lot because I loved 'The Censor' too. The vocals in Faithless one are far more turned up and the lyrics have a harder affect on my soul. I'm really loving the bass so hats off to Joey Walser for the badass performance. I'm excited to see what else the album, 'Signals' has to offer. I have yet to be disappointed even remotely in a Devour the Day album. Time & Pressure and S.O.A.R. are both great albums that dig deep into your human self and expose it at the seams. At least, that's what they did to me.  'Faithless' Rating Vocals - 7/10 Bass - 9/10 Drums 7/10 Lyrics 9/10 Overall Rating 8/10
